And you thought I couldn't come up with something new
and original.
In Japan, they've released a set of trading cards featuring
our boys as the central focus. There's a range of different
cards with 126 in the base set, 9 special foil cards. There was also a special "promo" card released - it is somewhat
rare.
Recently, I obtained a box with one box card and fifteen
packs of cards - that's 150 cards including 3 of the nine
foils and all but two of the normal 126 set. I paid good money
for those suckers, too, but I wasn't sure what to do with them
aside from letting them sit in a pretty little album I created
for them.
What I'm currently working on is scanning all of my 128
unique cards (I have doubles of some cards) and organzing
them by the type of card they are. From there I'm going to
showcase them here in a gallery for people to look at.
These cards are NOT to be taken for ANY reason without
asking me first. Most of the time I'll probably say yes, but
keep in mind that I'll be creating close to 200 scans (some of
the cards had good stuff on both sides, such as the opening
cards) and even though scanning is easy, it takes a LONG time.
This gallery will be a work in progress for a VERY LONG TIME.
Adding to my headache, I'm tempted to give each card its own
page with comments and such - this is largely dependant on how
much space I have, how much time it'll take and how crazy it's
going to make me. Right now the gallery consists of links to the
images itself, but considering the sheer number of cards I have
to scan in - including those I'm scanning two sides of - that's
a lot of images.
Without further adieu, here at the cards. |
