Boys of Summer 2006

Okay, so this is my "area" for the 2006 Boys of Summer Art Challenge. The premise, the brainchild of Ty-chou (aka Ghost of the Dawn) is to create one fanart for each day during a single month - obvious July, with its 31 days, is slightly more of a challenge then September, April, June, and November and much easier than our good friend February. Either way, here's how I did it this year:
- As thirty-one is a prime number, I decided to go with six "themes" each lasting five days - one for each Ronins. 5 x 6 = 30, so the last day is a special picture.
- Although the challenge (it's not a contest - I'm basically doing it for fun) says it's okay to show the progress of a single piece over the course of multiple days, I may cut out one of the themes in favor of doing a better job on the other themes.
- Due to the above, I'm not revealing any themes until I start them AND I don't want to talk myself into something my artistic skills won't allow for.
